Dear Jeremy,

Thank you for your kind explanation. I referred to the documentation of bug
464552. Unfortunately I am not experienced enough in Ubuntu nor Unix to
understand many of the discussions going on there. However I understand
where the problem occured and that it is a warning rather than a problem.

Hi Hein,

The warning reported here typically indicates that it took longer for
your system to resume from suspend than expected. I believe there is a
5 sec barrier which your system likely exceeded. Typically you'll see
something similar to "PM: resume devices took 8.664 seconds" in your
dmesg output when this happens. A patch to prevent this warning has
been applied via bug 464552. As a result I'm marking this as a
duplicate to bug 464552. Please continue to track this issue at that
report. Thanks!

suspend_test_finish warning triggers too easily, increase timeout to
match mainline times

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
I am busy trying to install Ubuntu together with Windows 7 on 1 disk and
getting Grub2 as multiboot manager working.

I installed Ubuntu 9.10, reboot from harddisk, Ubuntu working correctly
Then I installed Windows 7, reboots, W7 working correctly, as expected Grub2
was overwritten
Then I used document RecveringUbuntoAfterInstallingWindows and Ubuntu 9.10
life cd to install Grub2 again
After the reboot from harddisk only Ubuntu (and utilities) are visible in
the bootmenu
As suggested by the document I ran sudo update-grub2, it reported that W7
was detected
After reboot Ubuntu and W7 are visible in the Grub 2 bootmenu

Where the crash occurred I have not noticed.
