This error is most often due to a corrupted module. If you're still
experiencing this bug you can try the workaround given at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/module-init-tools/+bug/99547/comments/19.
Anyway, I'm setting the status of this report back to New because there is no
indication of a failure in the provided log file and how to recreate this bug.
