Hi Michael,

It looks like this issue has disappeared and I think was due to an 
update that I did.

This was occurring on a AMD64 build that was brand new without any apps 
installed, but I didn't see the issue on the same box with a x86 build 
(dual boot).

The problem was that when you opened software-center it would display "0 
items available" down the bottom of the application window.  You could 
not browse for new software or see installed software as the page was empty.

So I guess this mean this bug is closed?
