With VirtualBox 3.1.2 r56127 (last version) and the last 10.04 alpha the system still doesn't boot but now: - the message "please remove the disc ..............." appears at the end of installation - the system seems not to hans anymore at shutdown
I think the problem is in acpi. In fact even when install 10.04 I have to set acpi=off else the installation cannot start.
