If I start my PC with UBUNTU 8.04 and start oo 3.1 WORD (dutch language) then I
got tree color icons: Tekstkleur (Text-color), Markering (Mark-color) and
Achtergrondkleur (Background-color). If I give some textsymbols on the blank
white page then I get black lettersymbols.
Now If I want to change the text color I mark the letters on the white page and
choose a color with the icon Text-color. The letters does not change in another
color but stays black. If I first choose a new textcolor with the Text-color
icon then the new letters stays black too.
(The same bug I have in oo 3.1 CALC too: but there if I now first choose a new
color then the new typed symbols change in that color but if I then give a
RETURN the symbols get the black color again.) There is only one textcolor:
BLACK.
The icon Mark-color works good: so after mark the textsymbols the textsymbols
background change in the new color. The background-color icon does his job good
too.
I have reported this bug in my version of open office earlier and I got the
comment back of insufficient information.
I don't know which information you must have more.
