Yep, thats true. I will look into it today. My own Eee 701 4GB and 901 both work perfectly now...Its the bloody Realtek chipset on the 701SD ;) I suppose the SD model of the 701 is not so common either, since the 900 series was introduced and the older ones phased out around the time.
