I am not sure if I experience the same bug, but it seems like it. I am
running a Lucid 32 bit with latest updates and am unable to shutdown the
system cleanly. It does not matter whether I use the GUI or a terminal
or tty1, the box hangs after a split-second of activity. Only
Ctrl+Alt+Del will reboot it (the hard way).
