(Well, you can see the code was a bit chopped, but the mark is correct 
nevertheless)
I found a simple and 100% reproducible test-case: in a repository with mq 
enabled and a patch applied, invoke 'hgtk ci' and click 'refresh top MQ patch' 
(which in normal operation is the 'commit' action).

I seem to have find a related upstream bug BTW:
