Public bug reported: A very simple bug in the acpi implementation in 2.6.32 results in a lot of i5/i7 cpu's not scaling to full speed.
This was fixed and accepted for 2.6.32-rc5, but since that kernel won't be in karmic or lucid I'd request this patch be applied to both karmic and lucid's stable kernels.
