I tried the commands and it still is giving me sort of what looks like an error. I have attached a text file that is a transcript of my terminal session. First I ran through the first block, then because I got an error I ran through the second and also got an error. I get errors on the commands sudo apt-get -f install and $ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade. I get error code 17 not 2, I think I may have filled this under the wrong bug (I am not the most Linux savvy person but I am working on it). I am also concerned that is not really a bug and that I just wrecked my distro (or at least my packages). I do not know if I mentioned this in earlier emails but I have the Nvidea proprietary drivers installed (ver185) and I think this may be causing problems. I was doing some research online and it seemed like others were having problems caused by it. Ii get the error on updates but the updates go through and my software is installed so it is not a major problem, just an annoyance. Thanks for your help and I appreciate any further advice. I just want to make sure my problems aren't caused my one doing and that I am wasting your time when you need to fix real bugs, I am a developer myself(.Net Web) so I know what is it like to be fixing an issue that has nothing to do with what you are supposed to be fixing because the user made a mistake and reported it incorrectly.
