Did the machine break while going to sleep or waking up?
   Waking up

Is it reproducible?
Yes, I've had periods of success and failure over the last 3 or 4
development releases. Karmic is the first stable release that suspend/resume
has failed consistently. It never wakes up. I cannot prove that the reason is
the same as this bug though.

Did it work before?
Per my previous comment, yes - on and off during dev releases, but always
worked in stable releases until Karmic.

Do you end up with flashing caps-lock or similar?
   No

I will run some of the tests from the wiki on the box (now running Lucid
dev), and may end up filing a new bug report with the details if it
provides me with logs.
