Public bug reported:
I am a first time user fleeing Vista. I haven't fooled with DOS since
the '90s. Linux is a foreign language.
I loaded my Everex StepNote laptop with Ubuntu 9.10. I have no sound.
YouTube videos are jerky. I've tried some of the confusing cross
referenced suggestions in various posts and threads in the forum. After
three days, I'm almost ready to go back to Vista.
Is there some single set of instructions I can follow?
