Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: userconfig
Kubuntu 9.10 with all updates (as of 14-02-2010) installed:
- Start System Settings -> Advanced -> User Mangement
- Choose "New"
- In the resulting pop-up dialogue, fill in "Login Name" and change the "User
ID" field to something else than what is proposed (e.g. from 1001 to 2000)
- Click on OK
A new user with "Login Name" is created, however, the User ID is *not*
what I have filled in but still the value that userconfig proposed
itself. My "User ID" input has been completely ignored.
