Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: grub2
Hi,
I have an Intel NIC supporting iSCSI boot.
I successfully installed Karmic Server 64-bit from the install CD to the iSCSI
target.
Upon reboot, grub2 won't boot the OS just installed.
It looks like it can't mount the iSCSI target. On the screen I see:
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems: ...
and it drops me to a BusyBox shell.
I did get this setup running with CentOS 5.4.
