Hi,

I have an Intel NIC supporting iSCSI boot.
I successfully installed Karmic Server 64-bit from the install CD to the iSCSI 
target.
Upon reboot, grub2 won't boot the OS just installed.

It looks like it can't mount the iSCSI target. On the screen I see:

  Gave up waiting for root device.  Common problems: ...

and it drops me to a BusyBox shell.

I did get this setup running with CentOS 5.4.
