Hi
I have ubuntu 9.10
I have the same problem, too. My Logitech Mouse (part of a logitech easycall
desktop) stops working after a while.
The problam occurs randomly. Sometimes my mouse "dies" after 2 minutes somtimes
it works for hours. There is no chance to reanimate it by repluging or
reconecting. I have an older usb mouse (a logitech MX700) pluged in a PS/2 port
(with an adapter, of course) which is working fine (al long as I use it with an
PS/2 adapter, if i plug it in an usb-port there is the same problem).
I think this bug may be caused by logitech. USB devices are to act in a certain
way. Maybe logitech mice sometimes act in a way which isn't expacted by ubuntu
and will be "killed" because of this. Perhaps windows isn't as strict as linux
and accepts this dysfunction. Of course, this is only speculation, but it may
be the heart of our problem.
However I would be very glad, if this bug would be fixed!
greetings tommi
