Yes, hibernation works just fine if I don't remove the USB keyboard/mouse while hibernation is happening. I just did some more experiments. If I plug the mouse/keyboard back in while there are messages whining about USB to my screen then hibernation aborting happens a lot quicker (the aborting takes about 15 seconds in that case instead of the two minutes or so when I don't plug them back in). -- hibernation poweroff fails when disconnecting USB: "cannot enable port 1.
