I think the next step to do is to see if the bug has been resolved with
the current upstream kernels. Perhaps you could select the appropriate
latest kernel from the upstream kernel daily build
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily and see if this
fixes the suspend/resume issue. If it does, we can work from there to
see if a fix can be back-ported.
