Binary package hint: virt-manager
Create a new domain on an x86_64 host.
In Step 5 select "Advanced options" and set Architecture=i686.
After domain is created do "virsh dumpxml domainname|grep arch"
Result is: <type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-0.11'>hvm</type>
It should be: <type arch='i686' machine='pc-0.11'>hvm</type>
Confirmed on karmic.
