Per a decision made by the Ubuntu Kernel Team, bugs will longer be assigned
to the ubuntu-kernel-team in Launchpad as
part of the bug triage process. The ubuntu-kernel-team is being unassigned

perhaps the reason there has been on update to this bug since that
message was posted is because the Ubuntu developers have washed their
hands of it and abandoned it. Very nice.
