I use only released kernels, and see sporadic mouse freezeups when the network-manager is doing something. Yesterday, my Jaunty system froze when accessing the nm menu. I have wireless turned off with a manual switch, but use network-manger for my usb mobile/modem connection. I had no other windows open, so could not change focus, and found even ctrl-alt-del did nothing. Tried unsuccessfully to change to a virtual terminal. Everything appeared dead, so just powered off. I do not ever see these freezups doing anything else. If a freezup happens again, is there anything I can check to provide more information?
