Binary package hint: initramfs-tools
In addition to the standard KMS drivers shipped with the kernel, the
framebuffer hook of initramfs-tools should also copy the nouveau module
to the initramfs for the same KMS experience.
Simply adding
manual_add_modules lbm_nouveau
to the framebuffer hook should work. I'll prepare a branch with this for
merging.
