This bug is unique to a number of netbooks I understand.

I was really hoping it would be fixed in Version 10 since having an SD
card is very important on a netbook for backups.    it is extremely
awkward to keep pulling out the SD card after a write of data to it and
set the lock in place!    This bug applies for sure to these Dell models
...

If SD card inserted on Dell Mini 9 suspend locks up machine.   This is fixed if 
the SD card is locked.   Version 9.10 has this bug.   Version 10.04 also has 
this bug.
