Thanks for reporting this issue. It looks like all three desktop
environments were installed on this system. The desktop-meta packages
need to be present for an upgrade to work. The upgrade was attempted
using the Ubuntu CD.
Installing pidgin as dep of ubuntu-desktop
Setting NOT as auto-installed because its a direct dep of a package in section
metapackages
MarkUpgrade() called on a non-upgrable pkg: 'kubuntu-desktop'
MarkUpgrade() called on a non-upgrable pkg: 'xubuntu-desktop'

Status: New => Invalid
