Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nvidia-cg-toolkit
The package installs and is marked as successful - but it does not actually install and fails during the download of the toolkit from Nvidia with a 403 Forbidden error. This has happened on several machines on different networks and even though all affected machines can download all other packages fine. When I look on the Nvidia website (http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cg_toolkit.html), the 2.1 version is no longer available - but the 2.2 is. Thus the error. This failure is not preventing the package from becoming marked as installed however, and is leading to erroneous installs of other packages that assume it has been installed, afterwards. One such is Panda3D. ** Affects: nvidia-cg-toolkit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Package fails to install due to files missing on Nvidia website https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/524740 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
