Thank you for the update. I believe this report is actually a duplicate
of bug 377977 after doing some research. It appears that all Epson
scanners that are "supported" by a certain package are experiencing this
issue, including your scanner. At this point, there is a workaround for
USB scanners. Unfortunately, there does not yet seem to be a workaround
for SCSI connected scanners. Thanks to your testing, I will be able to
update the information on the initial report so it will hopefully get
more attention from developers. Thanks again for all of your help, and
please feel free to report any other problems that you encounter!
