There is such an option, and a few others you can see by doing 
sudo ubiquity --help

It seems however as if the option to disable migration doesn't work.

The attached file is the last part of what is outputted in the terminal
when I run with migration disabled, the new experimental package thing,
and some third option I forget... There should only be one left to try,
so you can probably guess which it is.
