Thanks for your report.
We only install the installer which in turn installs the plugin from a third
party source. The download of the plugin failed but the installation of the
installer (the ubuntu package) succeeded. This is a desired behavior and not a
bug.
I'm closing this report as won't fix.
Don't hesitate to submit any new bug.
