** Description changed: I've just done a fresh install of Feisty H5, and speed step on my 1.8ghz Intel Dothan centrino cpu is not working at all. This is not uncommon, - as other distro's have problems with this particular cpu, but Ubunto + as other distro's have problems with this particular cpu, but Ubuntu 6.06 and 6.10 worked really well. Currently, it's locked to 600mhz, and on logging in, I'm informed that frequency scaling is not available due - to miconfiguration or because my cpu doesnt support it. + to misconfiguration or because my cpu doesnt support it.
