After 101 MB update (March 8; 6 PM EST) Problem seems to have been
partially solved. SLIDESHOW works with 1.0-9631 nVIDIA driver.
Ooimpress still crashes on closing of the file.
Running "glxgears" from the command line results in very low FPS
performance on fullscreen window.
Here is output:
$ glxgears

7 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1.398 FPS
7 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1.396 FPS

after 36 requests (36 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
glxgears: xcb_xlib.c:41: xcb_xlib_lock: Assertion `!c->xlib.lock' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)
Will reinstall nvidia drivers and repost to this bug thread if change.
