Are you running this from the live CD? This:
IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied:
'/home/username/.cache/ubuntuone/log/oauth-login.log'
suggests that your username is literally 'username' which I think is the
case if you are running the live CD. The client should probably fail
more gracefully when this is the case.
