Ah, I see. It's in the way Ubuntu One synchronises directories outside its 'base' directory. Maybe Ubuntu One should get support for using XDG variables in the name somehow?
It could be adapted to replace the value of $RANDOM_XDG_VAR with "$XDG_RANDOM_XDG_VAR" in directory paths when saving them. (Note: if I'm correct recently a new XDG variable was added. This means that the Ubuntu One servers should support all different XDG variables on all supported Ubuntu releases. This is a bit too much. Two possible solutions: one: send the unmodified path to the U1 server as well as a fall-back; two: determine a group of variables that U1 supports. I'm in favour of the first.) -- UbuntuOne musicstore data isn't saved in $XDG_DATA_HOME https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/525210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
