Well in my case; and at installation time I have created a none root user ID, and since this ID will come up first, for (NONE-AUTO sign on), by one click of the mouse here and at this messy screen, then by typing your password, and soon before typing your eighth character, you would soon receive the NORMAL login screen where you would still need to select the needed user ID and required (of course) to enter your normal password? I just have to assume that a distorted login screen that was displayed and I chose to ignore and GO ON. Good job to all, especially those in the background who are keeping the Dev. Works, for I noticed my kernel number was upgraded to 14 from 10, that is impressive work of stabilizing, this is by far a great product already, my hat is off to you fine people, and may God bless you all.
-- [To Be Filled By O.E.M. To Be Filled By O.E.M.] late resume failure Ubuntu freezes after login. Fine horizontal stripes on the login screen indicate a graphics problem. Mouse still moves but doesn't respond. Reboot by Alt+PrintScreen+B necessary. Workaround: log into a recovery session, fallback to root shell with network, gdm start, login normally, no problem will occur. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/479339 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
