Dear Eric, it is not the same problem I mean. I don't know exactly what goes wrong but ubuntu-one doesn't communicate well with > > Passwords and Encryption Keys or may be it doesn't have a method to > autosave their password. Or may be I don't know how to use it. It is not so > clear what exactly to do. >
My standards are autologin and autologin for Passwords and Encryption Keys . I don't want at boot any annoying request to give passwords. The password request only when really needed. As I wrote the only temporary solution I found is to put off-line Passwords and Encryption Keys and ubuntu-one by moving ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring in a command terminal you can see all the story in http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php/topic, 364337.msg2819288.html . Sometimes at boot now pop-up the ubuntu-one account firefox tab request (Sign in to Ubuntu One). But I saved the password and so it is always loggedin in. If I do "add a computer" no problem but now (keyring off-line) my ubuntu says oh you don't have a keyring .... so create one ... if I create then at every boot ubuntu ask for keyring password, very annoying. I tried to solve (you see in forum msg-es) but probably in a wrong way and the effect is a hard security problem that put my new ubuntu installation to break and having to reinstall again (two hours ...). If you have a solution for having ubuntu-one silently and securely running (no blank passwords please ...) please tell me. This solution don't have to break the auto-login at boot. It don't have to break the silently running keyring. Otherwise, I think I can stay without ubuntu-one and Passwords and Encryption Keys running. Good work.
