I may have found something that could help you. Is there anything like
vPRO/AMT in your BIOS? Per Intel: "iwlagn currently doesn't support AMT, which
is another user for the same hardware. At this time, the only way we can do is
to disable it." So you may want to see if it is there and disable it. If that
does fix it, then we may have some regression that I need to dig up.
