Hello, thanks for reporting this. This package is in an unfortunate
situation where all Debian's version numbers are considered lower that
Ubuntu's version number, so new versions don't get automatically
imported from Debian, and it doesn't show up on automatically generated
lists of packages needing attention of Ubuntu developers.

So it would be helpful if somebody interested in this package requested
imports of new versions from Debian when it's necessary. It's best to do
before the Feature Freeze.
