This problem has been reported a number of times with computers from
various manufacturers, and it is a major problem - the installer will
not run! There doesn't seem to be a work-around and the (prospective)
linux-adopter is left helpless (and disillusioned)! It is essential that
this problem gets fixed as soon as possible, and definitely before the
release of 10.04 LTS.
