As I indicated in another email I sent to you, before I read all of your
comment above (sorry!), I have restarted my computer, gone immediately
to synaptic, looked up the broken package and attempted to upgrade it,
and it still tells me OO is running, although I have done nothing but
reboot and go directly to synaptic.
I can identify nothing in the system monitor to tell me OO or any of its
parts are running, so how do I fix this?
