Public bug reported:
While testing Lucid-Alpha-3 the suspend/resume function did not work.
After the suspend command the system shutdown. Pressing the power button the
system (drives) as usual restarted but the monitor did not respond (stand-by
signal). Not even on any keyboard or mouse action.
After a hard reset the system slowly came alive. During boot the system hanged.
After some keyboard entries the log-in screen appeared. However network
connection was shut-off and had to be re-enabled manually.
After several reboots the system appears to be subsequent slow in
booting time. I guess the event caused some system disruption.
The actual configuration (normal desktop i-386) worked fine with suspend/resume
until Ubuntu 9.10
