I can add "me too". I am trying to squeeze a bit more life out of my sons old PC - it has a nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 with a Viewsonic PS17 CRT monitor. When I installed UNR it correctly installed the proprietary nvidia drivers, but it couldn't autodetect the old monitor and it came up in 300-somethingx400something resolution - horrible - but everything worked. Anyway, after much fiddling I got it to hardwired to 1024x768 and 16K colours and thought it'd be alright. However, upon first logging in I got the orange background but no window manager. I Alt-F2 xterm and could see netbook-launcher taking 90% CPU and dmesg shows all these errors
