Public bug reported:
On Thinkpad T43 with Kubuntu 6.10 with Intel 910i chipset in VNC session
to Compaq Presario S3010CL with Savage Pro KM266. Enabling Desktop
Effects resulted in a crash. If Desktop Effects cannot be displayed
over VNC connection, a notice should be shown, otherwise this is an
honest bug.
