It works great on my ubuntu 10.04 alpha 3 (with Intel drivers), accessed from an ubuntu 9.04 VNC client, or a ubuntu 10.04 alpha 3 client. With compiz fully activated, the screen refreshes correctly, and I can see the desktop effects through VNC
