Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pgsnap
UBUNTU version: 9.10 - the Karmic Koala pgsnap version: 0.4.0-2 postgresql version: default for ubuntu 9.10, i.e. 8.4 expected behaviour: database report in output files current behaviour: pgsnap fails with error: ... Warning: pg_query(): Query failed: ERROR: relation "pg_autovacuum" does not exist LINE 12: FROM pg_class, pg_autovacuum ^ in /usr/share/pgsnap/lib/paramautovac.php on line 55 An error occured. .... pgsnap assumes existance of the pg_autovacumm catalog, and fails with the above error if this catalog is not found. Postgresql v.8.4 does not seem to have any more this catalog. This bug is in some ways similar to the already reported bug concerning package postgresql-autodoc (whose v. 1.31 is not compatible with postgresql 8.4, In that case simply updating to the latest 1.40 version works). Probably (will check this now) updating pgsnap to 0.5 (current version on ubuntu 9.10 is 0.4) fixes the problem. ** Affects: pgsnap (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- pgsnap version non compatible with postgresql default version in 9.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/529397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
