I am unable to reproduce this issue in Xubuntu 9.10, but I can in the
development version, Xubuntu Lucid. thunar-volman is installed:
apt-cache policy thunar-volman
thunar-volman:
Installed: 0.3.80-3
Candidate: 0.3.80-3
version table:
*** 0.3.80-3 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com lucid/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Attempting to display the directory of the same cd that I just used to test
Xubuntu 9.10 results in a blank display in Thunar. I must manually mount the
image to display the directory /media/cdrom. /media/.hal-mtab is empty.
/etc/fstab does contain:
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8
