i have managed to reproduce the bug while using the debug flag in order to gain accesses to the X server i had to go the terminal (via Ctrl + Alt + F1) and kill nautilus totem --version totem 2.28.2 totem --debug The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'. (Details: serial 1703 error_code 11 request_code 133 minor_code 19) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) i have tried to run the program with the sync flag bug i could not get the program to crash. -- totem crashed with signal 5 in _XError() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/518536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
