Public bug reported:
Whenever I enable Desktop Effects my Gnome Terminal cannot draw the
fonts at all ... I just see a plain background-colored rectangle.
Disable Desktop Effects makes it usable again.
I have a IBM Thinkpad T40p with ATI Radeon 9000 Mobility running latest
Ubuntu Updates (started from Herd 5 CD download)
