Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pype
In PyPE, when doing File > New Python Shell or File > New Command Shell, Apport comes up and tells me that PyPE has crashed. However, the whole program does not crash. In PyPE's log, it says "[ Fri Mar 9 18:56:59 2007 ] Loading menus from /home/paul/.pype/menus.u.txt Loading history from /home/paul/.pype/history.u.txt [ Fri Mar 9 18:57:07 2007 ] Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/pype/pype.py", line 1674, in OnNewPythonShell self.newTab("", " ", 1, 1) File "/usr/share/pype/pype.py", line 1712, in newTab nwin = interpreter.MyShell(split, wxNewId(), self, None, shell&1) File "/usr/share/pype/plugins/interpreter.py", line 130, in __init__ pypestc = __main__.PythonSTC AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'PythonSTC' " ProblemType: Crash Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Mar 9 18:57:07 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/pype InterpreterPath: /usr/bin/python2.5 Package: pype 2.5-2 PackageArchitecture: all ProcCmdline: /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/pype ProcCwd: /usr/share/pype ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/zsh-beta LANG=en_US.UTF-8 PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games PythonArgs: ['/usr/bin/pype'] SourcePackage: pype Uname: Linux bel-air 2.6.20-9-generic #2 SMP Mon Feb 26 03:01:44 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: pype (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- PyPE crashes when opening a Python shell https://launchpad.net/bugs/91007 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
