OK this is over 6 months old now and duping it to another more
complicated issue attributed a "wishlist" status is not getting it
fixed.
Despite a series of comments on the dupe there is no sign of a concrete
solution or action.
The solution to THIS bug , which although related is NOT a dupe, is very
simple:
Remove the default startup noises from all live media. Simple!
This would not detract one iota from the usefulness of the live media and will
address a serious issue of potential damage to hardware of even physical damage
to hearing.
Even though that result is not likely it is a serious issue , not a
wishlist.
Please remove the dupe and fix , a.s.a.p.
