Public bug reported:
/var mounts as read-only in Ubuntu Edgy, last update was about two weeks
ago.
/var is ext3, would this be some kind of safety feature, if there is a
problem with bad sectors or whatnot?
This is a post for someone I know, his only computer is stuck using
consoles, since X won't start without being able to use /var.
