It would be cool if Kubuntu contributors collaborated on a Kubuntu
Software Center. Ubuntu Software Center uses aptdaemon, which (as far as
I know) is toolkit-agnostic. Presumably the first requirement would be
to write a python-aptdaemon-qt equivalent to the existing python-
aptdaemon-gtk. And perhaps other toolkit-independent components of USC
could be factored out too.

However, this bug report is filed under the Ubuntu Software Center
package (software-center), and as such it is invalid. A single package
shouldn't contain both GTK and Qt versions of the same software, for
obvious dependency reasons. Any Kubuntu version would have its own
package.

If you've started writing a Kubuntu Software Center, I suggest
registering a project for it on Launchpad and linking to it here.
