Thanks for the report. By "the application" I was referring to Ubuntu
Software Center itself, as opposed to the software that it lets you
install. However, I was mistaken in thinking that the application and
the package have separate descriptions: the only long description is in
the package. I've fixed this, and also updated the specified description
to use "software" where appropriate.
